The AGD has recently updated its Document Verification Service to include additional information for Medicare Card matching.

This new change means matching will not only be performed on an applicant's name on card, but also on their date of birth. Veda has welcomed this change as Medicare now aligns closer with the other DVS document matching requirements and adds an additional contributing factor to your IDMatrix scorecard.

How does this affect IDMatrix?

Over the next week IDMatrix scorecards will be updated to contribute a date of birth when Medicare is successfully verified using the DVS.
