• I haven't received my unique code yet, how can I sign up for Equifax Protect?

  Once you have received your unique code, you can return to this page and follow the "Subscribe now" link to start your new subscription at no cost.

• What if I already have an Equifax subscription?

  If you are already an Equifax customer, you can enter your code and email address in the fields provided on the code activation page.

  If the code is valid and your account is active, you will be redirected to the MyEquifax login page to login to your account. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected to the checkout page to redeem your code for your complimentary subscription. Alternatively you can go to the upgrade section in your MyEquifax portal and redeem your promo code to your complimentary subscription.

  Please review the product and features carefully before moving from your existing account or subscription to the complimentary subscription.

• I intend to cancel/replace my driver licence. What should I do?

  You should enter your current/active driver licence details during the online registration process for Equifax Protect so we can correctly verify your identity. Once your Equifax Protect subscription is activated, we recommend entering your current driver licence details into the portal to activate your identity monitoring. This will alert you if your information is discovered on the dark web. When your new driver licence is issued, you should update those document details in your Equifax Protect portal to ensure your identity monitoring is up to date.

• I have already requested a replacement driver licence. Can I still sign up for Equifax Protect?

  Re-issuing a new driver licence number may take several weeks. If you wish to sign up for Equifax Protect but you have not yet received your replacement driver licence and card number (for applicable states), you can still complete the registration process using alternative forms of identification, e.g. Passport and Medicare.
