I was impacted by the Optus breach and already signed up for my free Equifax Protect subscription. Do I need to do anything?

There is nothing further you need to do as you have already signed up for Equifax Protect and this is exactly the same service. Make sure to log in to your Equifax Protect account and enter your identity document details to activate your identity monitoring service. Our service will alert you if your personal details are found on the dark web.
What if I already have an Equifax subscription?

If you are already an Equifax customer, you can enter your code and email address in the fields provided on the code activation page.

If the code is valid and your account is active, you will be redirected to the MyEquifax login page to login to your account. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected to the checkout page to redeem your code for your complimentary subscription. Alternatively you can go to the upgrade section in your MyEquifax portal and redeem your promo code to your complimentary subscription.
